Drift Nashville

Capturing the wistful nostalgia of golden age road travel, the Drift Hotels team do it again with a new Nashville opening...

With properties in San Jose del Cabo, Palm Springs and Santa Barbara, Drift Hotels expand their portfolio with a new opening in Nashville, the design-forward, 87-room hotel located just east of the Cumberland River in the heart of the East Bank.

Owners TMC Hospitality designed Drift Nashville in collaboration with local firm Dryden, breathing new life into a former circa 1965 inn to create “a beacon of minimalist modernity.” Today the lodging retains the integrity of the building’s mid-century architecture combining it with vibrant interiors that nod to the Drift brand’s signature Baja flair: a colour palette of rust and forest green, and earthen materials and textures of the Southwest and Mexico including leather, terrazzo, wood, and terracotta. The work of the city’s artisans can be found throughout, ensuring Drift Nashville is woven into its cultural fabric.

Guest rooms are spacious and feature custom walnut beds, locally made custom artwork, Drift brand bath amenities and bathrobes handmade in Oaxaca Mexico. Sanctuaries in which to relax, guests can pick from the Standard or City View King, One Bedroom Suite, Two Bedroom Suite, Three Bedroom Suite, and the Penthouse. While the suites are home to kitchenettes, multiple bathrooms, dining and lounge areas, the breathtaking seventh-floor penthouse is undoubtedly Drift Nashville’s crown jewel with three king beds and three bathrooms, including a primary bathroom with a free-standing bathtub and a powder room that features a golden toilet, paying homage to Elvis’ frequent stays in the building throughout the 1980s. At 1,800 square feet, this space is perfect for groups of travellers seeking an unforgettable experience.

Drift Nashville’s resort-style pool and garden area are designed to feel like an urban oasis with ample room to socialise, or to relax in luxe cabanas and enjoy a bite and beverage from Poolside at Drift, which is slated to open this Spring. Those looking to dine onsite before then can enjoy the hotel’s food and beverage concepts led by renowned Nashville hospitality talent Alexis Soler. From Dawn Cafe to The Sun Room, all tastes and whims are catered for.

Encouraging authentic travel experiences that draw from the surrounding area, with Drift Nashville, the Drift brand once again captivate the wistful nostalgia of golden age road travel.
