ROOST Rainey has arrived in Austin, marking Method Co.’s first Texas property and eighth apartment hotel nationwide. Spread across four floors of Paseo — LV Collective’s 48 storey mixed-use tower at 80 Rainey Street — the 59 unit hotel blends boutique hospitality with residential comfort, offering flexible stays for short- and long-term visitors in one of the city’s most dynamic neighbourhoods.
The suites range from studios to four-bedroom apartments, each fully furnished and designed to feel like a home with the perks of a boutique hotel, something that’s very typical to the brand. Kitchens, in-unit laundry, and premium coffee programmes sit alongside a curated mix of custom and vintage furnishings. Interiors, created in collaboration with LV Collective, Method Co., and ZZ Driggs, take cues from the Rainey Street Historic District, layering warm tones, organic materials, textures, and artwork by Alex Bodishbaugh. Every unit is unique, giving each space a personal feel.
Amenities extend the ROOST experience beyond the rooms. A 12th-floor pool deck looks out over Lady Bird Lake, complete with cabanas and bar service, while a fitness centre offers Pilates and yoga studios, cold plunges, and saunas. Two floors of coworking space include private pods and conference rooms, and a rotating Artist-in-Residence programme brings a cultural edge to the property.
Food and drink are equally considered. Daydreamer Coffee on the ground floor combines natural light and lounge seating with seasonal drinks, pastries from Texas French Bread, and a curated wine selection. On the rooftop, Amaya offers modern Mediterranean-inspired dishes designed for sharing, from light mezze to fresh small plates.
The interiors reflect Austin’s architecture and the neighbourhood’s Mexican-American heritage. White oak cabinetry, grey matte countertops, statement pendants, handmade tiles, and a mix of velvet and leather upholstery create warmth and tactility, complemented by vintage furnishings from local brand Four Hands. ROOST Rainey also targets LEED Silver and Austin Energy Green Building 3-Star ratings.
Steps from Rainey Street’s bars, restaurants, and live music venues, ROOST Rainey acts as a contemporary base for exploring the city. With design-led interiors, thoughtful amenities, and a clear sense of place, it offers a modern, elevated stay that’s as comfortable as it is stylish.
