In the heart of Saint-Lambert Village, just across the river from Montreal, Limousine brings French glamour and a taste for indulgence to the city’s south shore. A new gourmet bistro that celebrates the art of excess and refined pleasure, its opening has piqued the interest of both long-standing residents and a younger demographic; providing the area’s first true destination tailored to this new wave.
Occupying a former café on a diamond-shaped corner of Victoria Avenue, Limousine’s geometry dictates much of its design, which comes courtesy of We Heart favourite, Ivy Studio. At its centre, a faceted bar glows beneath a sculptural amber lightbox, its warm hue stretching across dark leather banquettes, green marble, and chrome accents. The space channels the interior of vintage luxury limousines, evoking richness, comfort, and elegance. Warm cream walls and a golden-bronze ceiling set a subdued backdrop for a palette of black lacquer, natural stone, and velvet.

Designed with both long-time locals and the new generation moving into this elegant suburb in mind, the 1,700 square foot restaurant’s focal point is a central bar, a beauty that doubles as a visual statement. Around it, tan leather banquettes and mint-green velvet chairs creates a decadent yet intimate atmosphere.
A striking service station of dark-stained millwork and smoked glass bridges the kitchen and dining area, whilst even the bathrooms continue the theme with glossy tiles, cream and black checkers, and family photographs.
At the table, Limousine’s menu pays homage to French classics with contemporary flair. Cocktails follow suit, with the Martini taking centre stage in a list that favours bold reinterpretations.
Whether for local residents or Montrealers crossing the bridge in search of something new, Limousine is a glorious ode to old time hedonism and timeless aesthetics.
