First featuring 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin way back in 2014, the inspired design hotel already stood out as one of the capital’s boldest lifestyle concepts. Now, over a decade later, Studio Aisslinger returns to breathe fresh life into the original design; the cult hotel having evolved into a vibrant experience rooted in the city’s ever-changing identity.
Situated between the Tiergarten and Berlin Zoo, the hotel’s unique positioning continues to shape its personality. The new design channels its setting through a concept dubbed the ‘Urban Jungle,’ blending city grit with lush greenery across playful public spaces, suites, and rooftop areas. The vision is immersive, transportive, and unmistakably Berlin.

The 10th floor remains the social epicentre. Restaurant NENI Berlin (recently finding its way to paradise at both Mallorca’s Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Es Trenc and Bikini Island & Mountain Port de Sóller) serves up its famous take on global cuisine with views across the treetops, while Monkey Bar remains of the city’s most sought after rooftop spots, and is as much about the panoramic skyline as it is about the crowd.
Elsewhere, the Nomad Bar morphs from daytime bakery to night-time aperitivo spot via a rotating shelving system, and the jungle-inspired Rattan Lounge offers sculptural seating and hammock zones immersed in greenery.

Across the 24 redesigned suites, beds now take centre stage, and are positioned to soak up views over City West or the Tiergarten. Room layouts flow openly, with the addition of circular wooden ‘Conversation Pits’ that offer analogue retreats from the digital world. Bathrooms, have also been rethought; open and light-filled with Bluetooth-enabled bathtubs and upcycled Kaldewei elements as part of a pioneering sustainability collaboration.
Studio Aisslinger’s playful signature is everywhere from the material choices that nod to Berlin’s raw edges. Think natural brick, cork, mirrored surfaces, bold textiles by JAB and playful design pieces, as well as a custom kilim rug light installation that reinforces the hotel’s renewed narrative.
With spaces like the hand-laid Brick Lounge for co-working, and the MOROSO-designed Bikini Lounge for lounging or laptop time, 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin continues to be a magnet for the creatively inclined.
An exciting return for one of Berlin’s most recognisable stays, Studio Aisslinger’s redesign keeps this mighty Berlin hotel firmly at the heart of the city’s design and hospitality conversation.
