This summer has seen the Casa Cook collection of boutique hotels open their newest property in Greece, and the 26-room adult-only retreat is the brand’s most exclusive and intimate to date. Located on picturesque Mykonos, the luxury design hotel boasts panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, as well as the chef behind Harry and Meghan ‘s 2018 wedding, Adreas Ntougias, masterminding the kitchen.
Located close to Mykonos town, the hotel’s design was inspired by the traditional Mykonian cuboid houses found across the island, with architecture resembling traditional villages where buildings have grown organically together and evolved to surround the town hall. Each luxury suite and villa is unique, although they all encompass an organic flow of clean lines, organic materials, and a colour palette that reflects that of the island: bleached whites, azure blues, earthy browns and lush greens.
In his role of head chef, Adreas Ntougias is responsible for the creation of all the hotel’s menus, the restaurant celebrating paréa; the Greek tradition of enjoying meals together as one big family, with generous plates designed to share. Serving reimagined Greek cuisine and international classics, guests can look forward to fresh, seasonal produce with a creative local twist, and enjoy it at the hotel’s beating heart: the pool and dining space adorned with oversized pergolas providing ample shade.
With an emphasis on slow living and lazy drawn-out afternoons, Casa Cook Mykonos is a pure contrast to the buzzing nightlife of the island, offering guests a chic and luxurious place to disconnect and unwind amid the surrounds of decadent design.
