Featuring 168 individual residences——many complete with living rooms, separate bedrooms and an open plan kitchen——The Julius Prague provides ‘a feeling of home’ for today’s traveller, the Matteo Thun & Partners-designed hotel housed within a Neo-Renaissance building in the heart of Prague’s New Town.
The first property for the brand created by Julius Meinl Living, a name synonymous with finesse, tradition and quality for more than 160 years, The Julius Prague was created to meet a variety of individual needs, offering generously sized spaces with a residential feel, along with communal areas where guests can network, meet fellow travellers, or simply disconnect. The freedom of apartment living is at its essence whether staying one night, a month or longer.
Matteo Thun & Partners opted for a colour palette inspired by the rich art heritage of the Czech Republic, looking to present guests with an authentic Czech experience in a location that combines new and old; the heart of the New Town situated mere steps away from Prague’s Old Town gates. Custom furniture can be found throughout from the reception desk, the bar and benches, to the marble bathroom, upholstered bedhead and bedside tables, whilst in the luxurious residences, the designers combined pared-back and pastel hues, working with natural materials and soft textiles to create a welcoming atmosphere alongside elegant yet homely ambience.
A sleek operation in the heart of Prague with great dining options to boot (the property’s Emporium bistro and bar offering the perfect setting for lunch or relaxed working during the day), The Julius Prague offers its guests a refined environment to call home for however long they choose.
