Liam Treanor knocks us dead with understated furniture collection...

Delicious product design ahoy! Following on from his acclaimed Interbau Collection, Liam Treanor is back with the Santiago Collection, set to debut at this month’s London Design Festival. The latest work is marked by the same understated elegance that graced the former, and is dedicated to a group of influential Modernist architects who have inspired Liam.

Despite what Cluedo would have you believe, a shocking number of houses these days are without candlesticks with which to murder people in the library, and it’s a situation that can be stylishly remedied with the purchase of Treanor’s Louis Candlesticks. Available in small, medium or large, they have been designed to continue the tapering form of the candle. The Affonso Stool can double as a small side table, and partners the Lina Desk in function while reflecting the Paulo Coffee Table in form. The larger items are made with twist-in legs to make assembly and moving them easy, and the whole range – handmade of course – is available in either oak or ash. Check pricing and ordering information, and see Liam’s other fine product ranges, over on the designer’s website.
