Adriano Zumbo: pâtissier, restaurateur, TV star, and now pioneer of the dessert train – a sushi-meets-pâtisserie way to enjoy the Aussie celeb-chef’s weird and wonderful creations, including his trademark Zumbarons. Located inside Sydney’s swanky Vegas-esque entertainment hub The Star, Zumbo’s latest eatery is not to be missed, quite literally, thanks to his name spelt out in ruddy great carnival bulb letters in the window.
Of course, that’s not the least of this establishment’s balls out brashness, no; there’s fluro-birdcages and ‘break in case of emergency’ cabinets displaying the famous pâtissier’s finest, whilst the dessert train itself is a thing of Willy Wonka-wonderment. And all this before we even get down to the good themselves. Audacious, innovative, and bags of fun; what’s not to love about Mr Zumbo’s latest?
