Located in the heart of Valencia, a city increasingly known for its rich electronic music culture, OVEN Club emerges afresh with a striking redesign by Clap Studio. Over five years since their first collaboration, the design firm returns to reimagine one of the city’s most iconic venues, updating its look and reinforcing its status as a vital cultural node in Spain’s nightlife scene.
The new OVEN is a sensory, immersive space rooted in a concept. Taking inspiration from the club’s name, Clap Studio delivers a design language drawn from the dynamics of heat and transformation: stainless steel surfaces that reflect the rhythm of light and movement, and Alpi wood finishes in smouldering red and black that bring both warmth and psychedelia into play.
At its core, the venue remains loyal to its musical DNA. The DJ booth stands front and centre, now flanked by two sculptural bars lined with glowing LED grids. Behind the booth, a horizontal screen syncs visuals with programmed lighting, building an ever-shifting atmosphere that reacts to the music in real time.
The redesign heats up OVEN’s core purpose of “sound as a collective experience.” Every material, every fixture, and every flicker of light is choreographed to amplify the connection between space, audience, and audio, and with this latest evolution, OVEN Club cements its role as a furnace for Valencia’s underground sound.
