Less than two hours from Cancún International Airport and under 30 minutes from Tulum’s new terminal, NABOA presents a design narrative shaped by Jaque Studio under architect Jesús Acosta, with artistic direction and interiors by Australia’s Studio Wenden. The architecture favours clean, unfussy volumes finished in chukum — the terracotta-toned Maya technique — paired with timber, stone, and thick tropical greenery.
Inside, contemporary design meets artisanal character. Oaxaca-made rugs, ceramics by Escarabajo, lighting by Nuumbra, and handcrafted textiles by Caralarga create a considered palette, complemented by bespoke wooden furniture that reflects a warm, sensory approach to luxury. A double-height lounge acts as the social heart of the property, complete with expansive sofas and a library of art editions, easing the transition to the gardens, solarium, and pool.
With only ten suites, privacy and stillness are prioritised. Guests can select from The Nest, The Tropical, or The Pavilion, each spacious and composed, encouraging a slower pace. Wellbeing becomes a daily ritual at NABOA via yoga, sound bowl sessions, and barré classes, along with treatments inspired by pre-Columbian practices such as the Mayan massage.
Dining at LU_LO honours Mexican tradition while embracing global technique. Guided by chef Carlos Bordonave, the menu evolves from vibrant breakfasts to refined evening plates, supported by a cocktail programme created by award-winning mixologist Koki Yokoyama.
