With submissions for the 2020—2021 edition still very much open, let us take you through our top 20 A' Design Award winners of all time...

Established to promote and recognise the best design work around the world and across a variety of creative disciplines, the A’ Design Award & Competition focuses on innovation, celebrating the designers, companies and brands who create superior products and projects that benefit society.

The Thinker Poster by Miriam Trilety

A’ Design Awards & Competition winners arrive to the award’s lavish annual gala night in Italy.

With over 100 categories in which to classify your work, the competition—the world’s largest and most influential—also offers entrants a host of benefits. Think press release preparation; press exposure; inclusion in exhibitions; access to feedback from a panel of judges made up of scholars, professionals and media; the opportunity to represent your country in the World Design Rankings, invitation to the annual gala-night; and the honour of standing head-to-head with the winners of previous editions.

As longterm collaborators with this competition, We Heart have had the fortune of witnessing some groundbreaking designs over the years, from many disciplines including those of architecture, art, fashion, interior design, graphic design, lighting, visual communication, textiles, installations and a whole lot more; each year submissions pushing boundaries and inspiring a new generation of creatives.

Submissions for the 2020—2021 edition remain very much open, and what better way to make good of the craziness of this year than getting your hard work recognised by peers, professionals and the press? We’ll be announcing the winners in a dedicated editorial post on 1 May 2021, and if you think you deserve a mention, enter your work today at competition.adesignaward.com for a chance to be included.
