Housed between two buildings over an impressive 28,000 square metres, B. Amsterdam is the largest startup ecosystem in Europe and one of the city’s hidden hangouts.
Bringing together start-ups and corporates, the premise behind B. Amsterdam is to enable people and organisations to flourish. By working together, the two very different structures can help one another: the corporates contributing the capital and expertise, start-ups the ability to explore their creativity and ambition without bureaucratic protocols.
The B. community gives you access to the right spaces, toolset, knowledge and social environment — and throughout the two buildings, one originally built as IBM’s headquarters, you’ll find coworking and office spaces, events and meeting spaces. Which is before it all gets very interesting — as well as a gym and coffee lounge, rooftop garden and bar B. bylon (designed and built by De Dakdokters and GrownDownTown) has recently been joined by hip restaurant Bureau.
