Vice Versa Hotel

There's a bit of the devil about this sexy Parisian hotel...

It’s not always as romantic in Paris as the rom-com directors of the world would have you believe, especially in the dampness of March. People turning corners don’t always bump into the missing piece of their hearts’ jigsaw. The last seat on the metro you improbably snare will not be right next to Marion Cotillard. But if there’s one thing the city can be relied on for, even in the grey of a winter that’s outstaying its welcome, it’s to put a bit of va-va-voom back in your life.

If you need a pick-me-up in the pants, there’s nowhere better to get up or get down than the Vice Versa Hotel, a seriously flirty creation from interior designer Chantal Thomass. Based around the seven deadly sins, each floor follows a different theme with an emphasis on fun throughout. I once drew on an oil painting when I was six, and I wouldn’t recommend you try it, but happily (almost) all the naughtiness has been done for you at Vice Versa – just sit back and revel in it. Incidentally if someone tells you to go to Hell, don’t be offended – they are likely referring to the dark and seductive steam room in the basement…
