The Travelling Gin Co.

Pair peddling the perfect party combination...

That old-fashioned but quintessential summer cocktail, the gin and tonic, is one half of a very quirky concept from Edward Godden and Joseph Lewis, who – thanks to an old bike and a bit of Instagram magic – could have stepped out of the 1940s themselves. An age when service wasn’t dead.

You’d better consider your guest list carefully before you book The Travelling Gin Co., and weed out any potential party poopers who are known to burst into tears when drinking gin. You know who they are.

The two entrepreneurs will bring the party to you under the power of the pedal, park up their bike and dish out the classic thirst-quencher, as well as some other gin-based concoctions, to all-comers. But this is no run-of-the-gin-mill Gordon’s-and Schweppes-fest (both fine drinks, but a bit tried and tested). They use a selection of modern gins from boutique distilleries, such as Sipsmith, Sacred, and Bloom, to mix their drinks. I say, is the sun past the yardarm yet? Terribly thirsty all of a sudden…
