Occupying Selfridges’ world famous Oxford Street windows throughout this month, and last, have been some of the iconic store’s most fabulously extravagant displays we can recall for some time. Celebrating “Bright Young Things“, the London store’s showcase of the most creative and exciting new names from the worlds of fashion and art, the displays represent the first time that the store has given a carte blanche to new designers to take over the Oxford Street windows, that are seen by over a million people each week. From jewellers and milliners to illustrators, set designers and, of course, fashion designers, the campaign shows just how dedicated the famous store is to nurturing up-and-coming talent. We’ll be covering some of the “Bright Young Things” in more detail in the coming weeks, but for now here’s our pick of some of the best displays over the last 2 months…
