Get your motor running at the Sydney suburb bar and kitchen that will put biking enthusiasts in a spin...

Screeching onto the scene in Sydney suburb Camperdown, Deus Bar & Kitchen is kickstarting itself into action for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between.

Founded by Tom Walton of Bondi beach’s The Bucket List along with Andy Ruwald and James Prier, the café space is attached to iconic biker store Deus Ex Machina — providing customers of the Sydney flagship, and hungry locals alike, with a little something to get their motor running.

Pushing a menu of nourishing dishes that draw on elements of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, Walton will be splitting his time between The Bucket List and Deus Bar & Kitchen; Prier’s cocktail concoctions — some matched to the bikes for sale next door — are set to make Deus the hottest ticket in town.

With designers studio-gram (who have Adelaide’s Africola, and Seminyak’s Motel Mexicola, as previous) on the case, the space features floor-to-ceiling windows, open kitchen, and a striking concrete bar top complete with leather footrests; reminiscent of the leather used by Deus in their customised machines.
