Taking the concept of fusion food to new heights, SUSHISAMBA has added a London restaurant to its growing portfolio of global locations, with spectacular effect.
With cuisine blending the best of Peru, Brazil and Japan, there’s plenty to interest diners happening on their plate, but it is the interior design coupled with the stunning location that will grab the attention as much as the shrimp tempura.
Occupying two floors of the Heron Tower, Bishopsgate, the restaurant’s designers Cetra Ruddy were on to a winner before they had picked up a pen thanks to the unrivalled views provided by the city of London. Add to those vistas some really fine interior work, such as the grand ceiling of the main dining area, the snappy Ghibli-esque anime sushi bar and the striking red and black terrace.
If you miss service, then there’s always the 24/7 option upstairs at recently featured Duck & Waffle.
