There’s an air of cinema, but the overall vibe is effortless luxury.
Inside, the original marble staircase, vintage glass elevator and mosaic floors recall the hotel’s past. Festen’s palette — moss green, ochre, terracotta, tobacco and deep reds — injects warmth, while curated artwork ranges from 19th‑century sketches to bold 1980s photography, creates layers of visual storytelling.
The hotel’s ground floor is abuzz with activity. Brasserie Maggie blends classic French fare with a playful spirit as DJs spin vinyl, and dinners stretch long into the evening. Citrons & Huîtres serves oysters, natural wines and a relaxed maritime vibe, offering a counterpoint of calm, with Festen’s design weaving through both, balancing texture, tone and scale to create polished yet friendly destinations.
Rooftop access rewards guests with panoramic views from Sacré‑Cœur to the Eiffel Tower. The bar simple and elegant, and feeling like a secret vantage point above the city’s bustle. Downstairs in the basement, Mikado — reminiscent of an old opium bar — revives the building’s historic nightlife. Behind a discreet red door lies a bar and dance floor, nodding to Paris’s jazz and swing era while hosting live music and DJs that carry the city’s energy late into the night.
Across its public spaces and guest rooms, Hôtel Rochechouart blends nostalgia with modernity. Original Art Deco curves meet contemporary finishes, historic details coexist with new textures, and the building’s story is everywhere, from curated art to the rhythm of its social spaces.
