Architecture and design studio Woods Bagot have teamed up once again with global lifestyle hospitality company Convene to create their newest opening; Convene Sancroft St. Paul’s a 45,000 square foot site set over two floors in the city of London.
Situated between historic London landmarks in Paternoster Square, this is a one-of-a-kind venue with impressive scale comprises seven unique meeting spaces, each of which can be custom-configured to accommodate various event types, as well as a 900-person grand hall, the largest space within the Convene global portfolio and the largest single above-ground meeting room in the City of London.
Capable of accommodating a total 1,200 guests, Convene Sancroft, St. Paul’s provides everything needed for a fully integrated meeting and event experience, making this the ideal spot for major conferences with main-stage sessions and breakouts, trade shows, exhibitions, or large corporate receptions.
With its aesthetic inspired by the Elizabethan era, design elements include the strategic use of colonnades reminiscent of those in the surrounding Paternoster Square to break up and frame built-in seating and snack bar elements; floating ceiling timber rafts boasting a quintessential Elizabethan diamond pattern; a bar made from the coveted Arabescato orobico rosso stone, and floral wallpapers and fabrics throughout.
