A’ Design Award 2023 Early Call

It's that time again already, promising designers take note, submissions for the 2023 edition of the A' Design Award are now open...

Collaborative, innovative, smart and scientific, thoughtful and philanthropic … these are just some of the adjectives the A’ Design Awards use to describe their colossal competition. And, as the 2022—2023 edition is already open, we’re making an early call for entries from designers, creatives, entrepreneurs and businesses who believe in making design that fits those adjectives and more.

The world’s largest competition with more than 100 categories and many, many more subcategories, the A’ Design Awards includes more disciplines than you can shake a stick at. From the ‘more popular’ Good Product Design Award, Good Architecture Design Award, Fashion and Travel Accessories Design Award, Digital and Electronic Devices Design Award and Social Design Award, to the more obscure ‘category 24 for hard to classify projects,’ it means that whatever your niche, literally, there’s a place for you here.

Benefits of winning the competition are vast and include recognition; credibility; awareness on an international level; and prestige—all alongside a 3D-printed metal trophy; an annual yearbook; invitation for two to a prestigious gala event; and the ability to boost your country’s world design rankings. Entrants are judged by quite a panel, the jury made up of scholars, professionals and media members; esteemed individuals on hand to evaluate and advise on how you can submit your very best designs via a preliminary scoring system which is free of charge.

Take a peek at some of our favourite previous winners in the images of this post and, who knows, maybe next year we’ll be featuring your work. As the old adage goes: you’ve got to be in it, to win it. With the early call for entries period now open (you have until 30 June to register in this phase) submit your potential award-winning designs today at competition.adesignaward.com. We wish you all the very best of luck.
