A’ Design Award’s World Design Rankings

Boost your country's moral by sending them up A' Design Award's World Design Rankings with your winning design submission...

World Design Rankings is a method that, in the case of the A’ Design Award and Competition, highlights and positions countries according to the number of designers that have historically won the award. Simply put, by entering the competition, you could directly influence the status and repute of your home country.

A' Design Award's World Design Rankings

For the 2020—2021 edition, 108 countries are represented, with the top five positions on the World Design Rankings going to China, USA, Japan, Italy and Hong Kong. Scores are calculated based on the number of Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron Design Awards won, and China lead the way with a whopping 2,272 Awards and Score of 8,201, compared to second place USA with 1,038 Awards and a Score of 3,791.

All these awards have been presented to designers representing a diverse range of disciplines; the A’ Design Award & Competition boasting a huge amount of categories and sub-categories for designers, innovators and companies to enter and showcase their works. Appraised by a panel of judges, scholars, professionals and press, you’re guaranteed honest and constructive feedback.

Take a look at the eye candy on this post to get an idea of past submissions and winners and, as well as your individual work being recognised (alongside your country), you could be the recipient of a 3D-printed trophy, an annual yearbook, and an invitation to an esteemed gala-night celebration and crowning ceremony.

Of course, ‘you have to be in it, to win it’, and with the submission period still open, you can do so at competition.adesignaward.com, knowing that not only are you giving yourself the very best chance, but helping to heap accolades on your country at a time where every good deed counts now more than ever. What’s more, we’ll be featuring some of our favourite winning designs during April 2021. Want to see your work in We Heart? What are you waiting for; set the champion in you loose.
