Duffy London; The UP Coffee Table

Limited to just 20 editions, The UP Coffee Table works with the illusion of levitation, giving the impression that a piece of glass is being suspended by small balloons. Designed by Christopher Duffy and hand made in the UK, the table – which took four years from concept to design – takes classic design and gives it a whole dose of youthful irreverence. Just watch out for the stowaway Scout.

Capolinea Design; TONDA

Made from eco-friendly materials, the TONDA armchair by Capolinea Design is made in Italy with sustainability in mind. Putting his own spin on the original chair, New York based Italian artist Alessandro Zuek Simonetti has teamed up with Capolinea, printing four differing images onto the armchair around the subjects of Pigeon, Skull, Wonderwheel and Building; giving the design an edgy twist.

Dorothy; The Colour of Popular Music and Song

The two latest litho prints from Dorothy are musically inspired to say the least. Featuring coloured wheels which correspond to the names of bands and songs with that particular colour in their title, the former includes 154 bands and artists – think The White Stripes and Red Hot Chilli Peppers – whilst the latter is made up of 576 song titles, such as Purple Rain and Fools Gold. Another fine piece of nostalgic gameplay infused art from the lovely Manchester-based studio.

Grange; Louis XV Bombe Chest

Having just presented this at Maison & Objet, we must admit we’re rather smitten by the regal yet ramshackle Louis XV Bombe Chest; part of the Exceptions range from French company Grange. Its curved lines and precise finishes make this chic piece a timeless and stylish beauty.
