Hotel Kalifornia; Heidi Locher

Hotel Kalifornia, by illustrious architect and artist Heidi Locher, is an immersive exhibition centering around a short film – filmed within a modern hotel room – investigating hidden memories, exploring haunting transitional moments, cathartic release and ultimately redemption. The exhibition at Londonnewcastle features projections, photography and a short film; and sees Locher continue to tread the boundaries of her disciplines.

Cretaceous Returns Exhibition

Brooklyn-based duo Pamela Reed and Matthew Rader – aka Reed + Rader – today launch their first UK solo show. Set to transform 18 Hewett Street from a clean white space into a prehistoric jungle filled with tall grass and foliage, the exhibition – curated by Protein – presents GIF animations showing different characters, a video of colorful dinosaurs dancing to dubstep (sounds brilliant already), and small colorful dinosaurs gracing the walls. Get yourself down there this evening and you can munch on some Bosco and Bee wood-fired pizzas whilst admiring the work of these daring digital art pioneers…

Cretaceous Returns Exhibition, 18 Hewett Street, London, EC2A 3NN; Running until 20th November
