Our ExQuisite Corpse; Huichol Beaded Skulls

Individually hand-beaded, Our Exquisite Corpse worked with Mexico’s Huichol people on this collection of unique human skulls. Living in the Sierra Madre Occidental range in the Mexican states of Nayarit, Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Durango; The Huichol – who have a long tradition in beaded art – believe in the power four principal deities – deer, corn, peyote and the eagle, which is where they drew inspiration for this range of very differing limited pieces.

Black Sheep Guides; Fold Out Travel Guides

Black Sheep Guides have produced compact concertina travel companions for five Spanish destinations; Granada, Jerez, Madrid, Seville and Valencia, and as well as being stylish and easy to use, they are pretty damn accurate in their recommendations too. Each guide starts with a ‘local knowledge’ section (well, you don’t want to be eating alone in a restaurant) and goes on to describe a range of bars, cafes and restaurants in the cities most frequented areas, listing them on a simple map also. With additional cities being planned, these guides will make a great inclusion to your next trip.

TID Watches x Form Us With Love; No.1

Swedish design brand TID launch their first product, a black ion plated milled stainless steel watch designed by Form Us With Love. Framing a Japanese quartz clockwork, the timepiece – No.1 – aims to withstand shifts in times and styles and encourage a new passion for the almost obsolete wristwatch, making it the preferred choice to time telling devices that people nowadays carry around in their pockets and bags.

kansi; F20 Folding Bike

The kansi F20 is a folding bike with a retro feel. Now I’m no bike expert, but the limited edition F20 looks great (with Skyway wheels, Odyssey tyres and classic grips and cranks), has a rather patriotic white, blue and red colour scheme going on, rides better than other folding bikes on the market, and folds easily every time. Harking back to the BMX bikes of old (and gaining the helping hand of BMX stunt riders for the design), this really does reflect a vintage ride with modern vibe.

Limited to just 150 bottles, it features the iconic John Pasche designed lips and tongue logo and is best drank neat… from the bottle… of course.

Alice Tait; The Illustrated London Map

Created by in-demand illustrator Alice Tait (who’s not long finished designing invitations for Chanel’s Little Black Jacket Exhibition), the quirky map of London – inspired by Notting Hill’s Portobello Road Market – contains sketches of well known London attractions and landmarks such as The London Eye and London Zoo, and there have been a few personal additions; look carefully and you might find Alice and her sausage dog…

These kitsch bone china mugs designed by illustrator Charlotte Farmer for New House Textiles, feature three snow globes which we must admit have gotten us embracing the christmas mood (if a little too early).
