You may be familiar with DegreeArt being a space that provides students and recent graduates a portal to sell and rent their pieces? It’s getting a transformation… ArtHAUS, is an exhibition using a physical space to bridge the gap between contemporary art and interior design, and they’ll be remodelling the area into an apartment encompassing five rooms; a living quarter, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. Each will house bespoke designers, products, creatives as well as up-and-coming artists. You’ll be encouraged to wander through the rooms and admire how they’ve been spruced up by an array of local organisations, as well as decorated with art and sculptures from DegreeArts’ young talents.

Created specifically for Caledonian Park, BABEL, is a collaboration between large-scale production sensations Wildworks and the award winning Battersea Arts Centre. The dazzling 1 hour 45 minute show is an engaging theatrical escapade, staged outdoors with a 300 strong cast of storytellers, massed choirs, live music and state-of-the-art visual effects – all delighting in what it means to be part of a truly global community, and world city that is London. Bring a raincoat!

Shop ’til your heart’s content at Musuem, the aptly named Dover Street Market, Market. Re-introducing an assemblage of past seasons clothing and accessories from the archives, hunt for bargains with discounts of 70% to 75% off all iconic Comme des Garçons collections. Also included will be many other of your other favourite Dover Street Market brands, and stock is replenished every few hours – so you may want to get down there more than once.

Showcasing gifted talent across the field of fashion from up-and-coming stars, Go Figure : New Fashion Illustration will present more than sixty works – selected from recent years professional and personal portfolios – by thirteen international fashion illustrators. A high level of attention to detail, craftsmanship and execution binds the group, whose working backgrounds range from the digital to the hand-drawn – and each will bring influences from their own specialities such as fashion design, graphic design, photography and film. A fantastic opportunity to catch both London’s creative fashion talent and some more established international names.

Art Lobby, one of Queens Parade’s tenants, put artists, regeneration projects and community projects in touch with one another. One of those artists/illustrators is Rome-born Massimo Nota whose show – curated by Alessandra Migani – exhibits works on an assortment of materials from canvas, brown paper, cardboard, iron plates or wood presenting a mind-blowing display of drawings, collages, acrylic paint, watercolour and paper sheets.

Whether Limber Gym is an artwork or a functional fitness camp, remains to be seen. It’s curious, engaging and we for one can’t wait to see whether it’ll be attended by skinny jean arty types or prissy ladies in their full aerobic get-up. TESTBED 1 is the first stop on its tour this weekend and is apparently the perfect venue for those ” willing to try out something new as well as become acquainted with something old” and everyone is welcome to test, challenge and question in the cause of self-improvement.

One of New York City’s most sought-after chefs, John DeLucie, has brought his newest and most ambitious venture – The Lion – to Kensington’s sauve private members restaurant and nightclub, The Brompton Club. Both The Lion and DeLucie are the toast of New York’s dining scene and his signature dishes, such as the delectable Yellowfin Tuna Tartare with Dijon Emulsion and Avocado and The Lion Burger Special Blend – a mouthwatering burger featuring Pork Belly, Provolone, Smoked Cheddar, Caramelized Onion and Tomato – will no doubt be über popular choices from the menu during this two-month pop-up.
