Mesmerising ribbons of laboriously processed plywood chaotically weaved their way through the space of this recent Polish exhibition, courtesy of a unique collaboration between WWAA Architects and artist/set-designer Boris Kudlička. Signifying the intricate musical compositions and creative process of the exhibitions subject, virtuoso Polish composer Frédéric François Chopin, the beautifully tangled flow of ribbons gave the space a triumphantly individual feel, that’s quite unlike anything we’ve seen before – the closest probably being the exquisite installation works of Belgian conceptual artist/architect, Arne Quinze. Utterly engaging and so painstakingly executed, the visual impact of this exhibition is truly unforgettable, and so fabulously inspirational…
